Our Mission
To foster community through movement, music, and memories with your little one
Our Instructor
My name is Willow and I am your lead instructor for your ‘parent and baby’ style dance class. I first entered the Salsa/Bachata dance scene looking for something social to do. I fell in love with the art almost instantly and became obsessed with wanting to share that feeling. Within two years I had the opportunity to teach dance and proceeded to instruct private, group and performance classes for the next 5 years. I am so excited for the opportunity to share my passion for Salsa and Bachata instruction. But more importantly, I am looking forward to seeing you experience those moments of learning with your little one.
Our Story
Our story begins, like all new parents, with the birth of my first child, Lyra- love, laughter, and life packed in a tiny bundle. This new chapter brought about a multitude of thoughts, one of which was finding ways to bond with my daughter using the free time that I had. Thus, I birthed the idea of ‘Our Two Left Feet,’ a latin themed dance class for parents to groove with their little one. I fell in love with salsa dancing and met my wife on the dance floor, so it felt right to share our love of dance with Lyra and our community.
Salsa and Bachata dancing is all about connecting with your dance parter. Our classes will give you the opportunity to learn the foundations of a new style of dance while bonding with your new baby.
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or taking your very first steps, Our Two Left Feet welcomes all parents to join us for some exciting classes!
Our Name
The name Our Two Left Feet is inspired from the saying “I have two left feet” meant to describe someone who is uncoordinated. We decided to inject some positivity into the phrase by way of perspective, because while learning to dance with us, you do have two left feet… just one of them belongs to your baby. So long as you have them as your purpose, no feat is too big to conquer.
Our Promise
To give the opportunity to bond with your baby and other parents, as well as learn the foundations of Salsa and Bachata, should you want to pursue that as a personal interest!
Our Contribution
Giving back to the parent community is something we at Our Two Left Feet value incredibly. Therefore, we will be donating to The Pink Elephant Support Network a portion of OTFL’s profits. To find out more, click here.
